Midweek sing

Midweek Sings

Midweek sings are small singing parties held (usually) in the middle of the week to give us a break from the "daily grind." The sings are held at different people's homes around the Boston area. We usually go around the circle and give each person a turn to request, perform or lead a song. The group ranges in size from 6 to 20 or more, with a wide range of musical abilities.

For more information, or if you would like to host a midweek sing, please send email to Glenn Ketterle at midweeks AT fssgb DOT org.

We had such a good time at our Gospel Workshop at NEFFA we thought we'd do it again! Bring your voices and instruments and come sing and play along with us, choosing from a set of gospel songs with lyrics and chords provided.

A FSSGB midweek sing was featured in an episode of Acton Music Project, a TV series on the Acton Massachusetts educational access channel! Click here to view it.
